Vice Documentaries are always thought provoking that’s a given. This one is no different but it left my brain twisted. Check it out and see what you think. Peep the info below:
Soon, virtual reality is going to crash into our lives in a way we never even imagined. Though dating and masturbating have long been commandeered by the web, it’s only been as a kind of middleman. Now we’re nearing the possibility of falling in love with your computer, as meeting your dream partner could be as easy as slipping on Oculus Rift—the most advanced virtual reality headset in the world.
In Digital Love, VICE investigates how love and sex is faring in the digital age, starting with technology’s notorious bedmate, the adult entertainment industry. We make a pilgrimage to LA’s “Porn Valley” to witness firsthand how virtual reality is scarily close to creating fully interactive porn before heading to Europe’s sex capital, Amsterdam, where the Dutch enthusiastically enlist the use of “teledildonics” to enhance their long-distance relationships.
Along the way we pick apart the digital world’s grip on today’s relationships. Apps and the rise of social media have revolutionized dating, while virtual affairs end real-life romances and online role-playing games have gone X-rated. Finally, we takes a look at a very modern taboo and ask: Can man’s relationship with machine ever translate into real-life intimacy?

Hip Hop culture wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t for this man. That’s a fact. You can’t argue. It’s the truth. Peep the info below:
Hailing from the galaxy of Queens, Marley Marl revolutionized hip hop when he pioneered the practice of sampling drum sounds and creating his own proto-boom-bap rhythms, yielding gems like MC Shan’s joyfully noisy (and unintentionally beef-inducing) QB anthem “The Bridge.” The sonic architect of Cold Chillin’ Records and the Juice Crew, Mr. Marl was one of rap’s first super-producers, crafting huge hits for Eric B. & Rakim, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane, and LL Cool J, among others. Oh yeah, and his tenure on late, great broadcasting partner Mr. Magic’s Rap Attack radio show on WBLS was immortalized in the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy.” Let this legendary “engineer all-star” tell you how he keeps it all in control in this three hour-plus talk at RBMA Tokyo 2014.
This will be todays only post. Hip Hop & Star Wars are both strong with the force so it’s only right I post this up. I’m hyped off this teaser trailer no doubt about it. The Millennium Falcon & X-Wings?! Shit just got real! Enjoy and get excited for next December.
With the release yesterday of his self titled album, Your Old Droog stops by the Sway In The Morning show for his first on-camera interview. He speaks on growing up battle rapping, picking out beats for the album and comparisons to Nas.
Your Old Droog shows & proves that he’s a real lyrical emcee as he kills the 5 Fingers Of Death for Sway. Enjoy. This is some quality shit you need to peep.
